AI music has a signature. DeArtifact sands it off.

Generation and stem separation leave the same marks every time. DeArtifact is built around those marks instead of making you hunt for them in a spectrogram.

Fizzy, shimmery highs

Vocals and cymbals flutter and sparkle in ways real recordings don't.

Soft, smeared hits

Kicks, snares and plucks lose their snap and sit back in the mix.

Ghosts from other sources

A hi-hat in your vocal stem, vocal haze in your drums.

What DeArtifact fixes in AI-generated music.

Want to fix AI generated audio, improve AI generated song quality or make AI music sound more natural? These are the symptoms people describe most, and what DeArtifact does about each one.

AI music sounds metallic, tinny or watery

Often caused by flutter in the high end from one moment to the next. Phase targets those spikes and leaves stable notes and harmonics alone.

Shimmer, warble and phasey AI music

Cymbals, breaths and vocals that swirl, sparkle or sound phasey. Phase calms the shimmer without dulling the tone.

AI music high-frequency noise

Isolated “birdie” spikes and fizzy high-frequency noise are what Phase is built to find. It is not a broadband de-noiser for hiss or room noise.

AI vocals sound robotic

Flutter, fizz and soft consonants make a generated voice feel synthetic. Phase and Transient give it more definition. It does not change the performance or the pitch.

An AI generated song sounds muddy

Smeared attacks and leakage between sources add to the mud. Transient restores snap and Bleed deepens the gaps. It is not an EQ, so low-mid build-up still needs your own EQ.

Why does Suno sound compressed?

Generated tracks often feel flat because hits lose their attack. Transient brings it back. It cannot undo lossy encoding or restore dynamics that are not in the file.

Suno and Udio audio quality is bad

Whether the audio came from Suno v4, v5 or Udio, the marks are similar. DeArtifact is a Suno audio quality fix and a Udio audio quality fix that works on the audio itself.

Bleed in separated stems

A hi-hat in your vocal stem, vocal haze in your drums. Bleed cleans this up, which makes it a Suno stems cleanup tool as well as a mix repair tool.

The honest limits

DeArtifact reduces artifacts. It cannot restore detail that was never generated, replace your EQ, or master the track for you.

One plugin for every AI music generator.

Every generator leaves a different fingerprint, but the same three problems. DeArtifact works on the audio, not the app that made it.

SunoUdioStable AudioMusicGenElevenLabs MusicAny other generatorDemucs stemsAny separator

Suno artifact remover

Fix Suno artifacts on v4, v5 and later exports. DeArtifact processes the audio, so the model version does not matter. It also works as a Suno plugin inside any VST3 host.

Udio artifact removal

Load a Udio track or stem and use Phase, Transient and Bleed to reduce shimmer, restore attack and clean leakage.

ElevenLabs music artifacts

The same three controls handle ElevenLabs Music artifacts, with the bypass there to check every move.

Stable Audio and MusicGen

A Stable Audio artifacts fix and a MusicGen cleanup tool in one: any generator that outputs audio can be repaired.

Looking for a Suno plugin or the best plugin for Suno songs? Judge for yourself: the free version has every feature, so you can hear what it does on your own track before you pay anything.

Three knobs. Nothing to learn.

DeArtifact is an AI music cleanup tool, an AI audio artifact remover and an AI audio repair plugin in one. Use it to de-artifact AI music, restore an AI-generated song or enhance AI music before you mix and master it. Looking for a one-click audio cleanup plugin? There are three knobs rather than a single button, so you stay in control, and the latency-matched bypass lets you check every move.

Phase

Targets the isolated "birdie" spikes and frame-to-frame flutter in the high end. Stable notes and harmonics are left alone, so the tone stays yours.

Transient

Brings back attack on drums and plucks. It only boosts attacks and never squashes sustain.

Bleed

Deepens the gaps between sources to clean up leakage from other instruments.

Honest A/B

Bypass is latency-matched, so you compare like with like, not just louder.

Plugin or standalone

Load the VST3 in your DAW, or run the Standalone app on its own, with no DAW needed. Use it on a full Suno or Udio mix, or on a single stem from Demucs or any separator. Mono and stereo, with both channels corrected together so your stereo image stays put.

A VST3 audio restoration plugin built for AI music.

DeArtifact is an audio repair plugin for AI music and a DAW plugin for AI music, not a general-purpose restoration suite. Here is how it differs.

Searching for an AI song restoration plugin or an AI music enhancer? DeArtifact repairs the specific damage AI generation leaves behind, so the track sounds more like a real recording. If you want a free alternative to iZotope RX for AI music, start with the free version. It is not a full replacement for a general restoration suite, and it is not affiliated with iZotope.

It is not a manual spectral repair plugin either. You do not paint over a spectrogram, because the controls find the AI-specific marks for you. And it is not an AI music mastering plugin: repair first, then EQ, compress and limit. If you need a de-noise plugin for AI vocals, DeArtifact handles the shimmer and birdie spikes in them, but not hiss or room noise.

Suno to DAW workflow: clean, mix, master, release.

A simple AI music post-processing workflow, and how to make Suno songs sound professional. The same order works for Udio and other generators.

  1. Export the best quality you can. Choose WAV if your plan offers it, otherwise the highest quality available.
  2. Split into stems if you want to. Use the generator’s own stem export, Demucs or another separator, then put each stem on its own track in your DAW.
  3. Add DeArtifact first in the chain. Load the VST3 plugin on each track, or open the Standalone app, before any EQ or compression.
  4. Set the three controls. Phase for shimmer on vocals, cymbals and highs. Transient for drums and plucks. Bleed on stems with leakage. Start gentle and use the latency-matched bypass to compare.
  5. Mix as normal. Use EQ for muddy low mids, compression and any saturation. Fix the cause of the shimmer instead of rolling off the highs to hide it.
  6. Master. Leave a few dB of headroom before the limiter and check on headphones and a phone speaker.
  7. Export and release. Bounce a lossless WAV for your distributor.

How to clean Suno stems in a DAW

Treat each stem separately. Bleed does the most on stems with leakage, Transient on drums and plucks, and Phase on vocals and cymbals. Suno stems cleanup works best when every stem has its own settings rather than one preset for all of them.

Suno mastering tips: how to master AI generated music

  • Repair before you master. Mastering makes shimmer and soft attacks louder, so fix them first.
  • Do not hide shimmer with EQ. Cutting the highs dulls the track. Reduce the artifact instead.
  • Compare at matched loudness. A louder version always sounds better, so use the latency-matched bypass for a fair test.
  • Check on more than one system. Headphones, a phone speaker and a car.

Before and after Suno mastering

The fastest before and after Suno mastering test is your own track: put DeArtifact on it, play a loop, and toggle the bypass. Because the bypass is latency-matched, the difference you hear is the repair and not a level change.

How to release AI music on Spotify with good quality

  • Spotify does not take direct uploads, so release through a distributor.
  • Deliver a lossless WAV, leave true-peak headroom (around −1 dBTP) and do not clip.
  • Spotify adjusts playback loudness, so you do not need to master as loud as possible.
  • Check your Suno or Udio plan’s commercial-use terms and your distributor’s rules on AI-generated music.

FAQ

Does DeArtifact work on full mixes, or only on stems?

Both. Use it on a complete Suno or Udio mix, or on a single stem from Demucs or any other separator: vocals, drums or bass. It handles mono and stereo, and both channels are corrected together so your stereo image stays put.

Which AI music generators does it work with?

All of them. DeArtifact processes the audio itself, so it works on tracks from Suno, Udio, Stable Audio, MusicGen, ElevenLabs Music and any other generator, as well as stems from Demucs or another separator. Export a WAV or load the track in your DAW and put the plugin on it.

Do I need a DAW to use it?

No. DeArtifact comes as a VST3 plugin for your DAW and as a Standalone app that runs on its own. It supports Windows, macOS and Linux, and AU is also available on macOS.

What’s the difference between Free and Pro?

Free gives you the VST3 plugin and Standalone app with every feature, but exports are restricted, so you can hear what it does on your own tracks first. Pro removes all restrictions and includes free updates for life. Pro is $29 at the launch price, which runs until 22 November 2026. After that it goes to $49.

Will it fix everything wrong with my AI track?

It’s a repair tool, not magic. DeArtifact reduces shimmer, soft transients and bleed, but it can’t restore detail that was never there. Use the latency-matched bypass to A/B your track and judge the result for yourself.

How do I fix Suno artifacts and remove AI artifacts from a song?

Export your track as a WAV, put DeArtifact on it as a VST3 plugin in your DAW (or open it in the Standalone app), and turn up Phase for shimmer, Transient for soft hits and Bleed for leakage between sources. Use the latency-matched bypass to compare as you go. It works the same way on Udio and other generators, and it can’t restore detail that was never there.

Why does my Suno song sound metallic, tinny or watery?

AI music often sounds metallic, tinny or watery when the high frequencies flutter from one moment to the next, which real recordings rarely do. The Phase control targets those isolated spikes and that flutter while leaving stable notes and harmonics alone, so the tone stays yours.

Why does Suno sound compressed, and can DeArtifact help?

Generated tracks often feel compressed and flat because kicks, snares and plucks lose their attack and sit back in the mix. Transient brings the attack back without squashing sustain. It can’t undo lossy encoding or put back dynamics that aren’t in the file, so treat it as a repair step before your own mixing and mastering.

Why do AI vocals sound robotic, and can it be fixed?

Robotic-sounding AI vocals are often a mix of flutter and fizz in the high end, soft consonants and bleed from other sources. Phase and Transient reduce the first two, and Bleed helps on separated vocal stems. DeArtifact isn’t a pitch or voice-editing tool, so a vocal that is robotic by nature may still need a different generation or manual editing.

Does it fix Suno audio quality problems on Suno v4 and v5?

Yes, where the problem is artifacts in the audio. DeArtifact processes the audio itself, so it doesn’t matter which Suno version, Udio model or other generator made the track. It reduces shimmer, soft attacks and bleed. It can’t turn a weak arrangement or a poor generation into a good one.

Is there a Udio audio quality fix or Udio artifact removal tool?

DeArtifact works as a Udio artifact removal tool in the same way as for Suno: load the track or a stem, reduce shimmer with Phase, restore punch with Transient and clean leakage with Bleed, then use the bypass to check the result.

Can DeArtifact fix ElevenLabs Music artifacts and Stable Audio artifacts?

Yes. It works on the audio, so it handles ElevenLabs Music, Stable Audio, MusicGen and any other generator in the same way, with the same three controls. Results depend on the track, so use the bypass to judge for yourself.

How do I clean up Suno stems in a DAW?

Split your track into stems with the generator’s own stem export, Demucs or another separator, put the stems on separate tracks and add DeArtifact to each one. Use Bleed on stems with leakage (a hi-hat in the vocal, vocal haze in the drums), Transient on drums and plucks and Phase on vocals and cymbals. Suno stems cleanup works best when each stem gets its own settings.

Is DeArtifact a de-noise plugin for AI vocals?

Not in the general sense. It isn’t a broadband de-noiser. It targets the shimmer, birdie spikes and flutter that are specific to AI-generated audio, including AI vocals. For hiss or room noise, use a dedicated de-noiser alongside it.

Is DeArtifact an AI music mastering plugin or a spectral repair plugin?

Neither exactly. It’s a repair plugin that goes before mastering: fix the artifacts first, then EQ, compress and limit as usual. It also isn’t a manual spectral editor, because you don’t paint over a spectrogram. The controls find the AI-specific marks for you.

Is there a free alternative to iZotope RX for AI music?

DeArtifact has a free version with every feature (exports are restricted), built for the problems AI music has. It isn’t a replacement for RX as a general restoration suite, and it isn’t affiliated with iZotope. If your problem is shimmer, soft attacks and bleed from Suno, Udio or a similar generator, the free version lets you test it on your own track.

How to master AI generated music and make Suno songs sound professional?

Repair first, then mix and master. Put DeArtifact early in the chain to deal with shimmer, soft attacks and bleed, then EQ, compress and limit as you would for any track. Leave a few dB of headroom before the limiter and check the result on headphones and on a phone speaker.

How do I release AI music on Spotify with good quality?

Spotify doesn’t take direct uploads, so you go through a distributor. Deliver a lossless WAV, leave true-peak headroom (around −1 dBTP) and don’t clip. Spotify adjusts playback loudness, so you don’t need to master as loud as possible. Also check your Suno or Udio plan’s commercial-use terms and your distributor’s rules on AI-generated music.

Can DeArtifact make AI music sound more natural and improve AI generated song quality?

It improves the specific things that make AI music sound artificial: shimmer, soft attacks and bleed. That helps a track sound more natural, but it isn’t a cure-all. Arrangement, mix and mastering still matter, which is why the workflow above puts repair first and mastering last.
